LOU DONALDSON LP LIGHT-FOOT (Blue Note Records BLP 4053). Released 1960.
"RVG" & ear stamped in dead wax: mastering by Rudy Van Gelder. 47 W 63rd on label. * Includes original inner sleeve showing great Blue Note covers. Ray Barretto congas. Also, Herman Foster piano, Peck Morrison bass, Jimmy Wormworth drums. Round-edged disc w/ classic BN logo. Heavy wax in sturdy cover. (MATRIX #: "RVG BN-LP-4053.A/B").
DISC VG
No heavy scratches: Light marks here & there on the disc. No skips, chipping, dimples or warps. Play grading reveals slight surface noise but I still enjoyed the music. Pleasure awaits the tolerant listener.
COVER VG
Front sticker & very faint browning on quarter inch of top edge. Faint line of crumpling along open edge. No seam splits, ring wear, creases, cut-out marks or front color fading. Spine looks good w/ faint color bleed. richly-colored label looks nice w/ faint color bleed; Very sharp-cut hole w/ faint spindle brushings. Original inner sleeve is in VG+ condition: free of writing, tears & creases. Slight yellowing from age.
