Hello Again, friends of great music! This show, for all you vinyl lovers, and there are a bunch out there judging by the number of you that have responded to my rare and old vinyl radio shows, is a rare vinyl that you will not find on eBay ever.
It is A TWO SIDED PROMO LP FOR A LONG FORM SERIES OFFERED BY CREATIVE RADIO NETWORKS. ONE SIDE WAS DEVOTED TO AN UPCOMING ELVIS PRESLEY SIX HOUR SPECIAL COMMEMORATING HIS 50TH BIRTHDAY. THE OTHER SIDE WAS A PROMO FOR A TWO HOUR BUDDY HOLLY SPECIAL TITLED THE DAY THE MUSIC DIED.
IT IS EXTREMELY RARE, IS IN MINT NEW CONDITION AND BELONGS IN YOUR SPECIAL COLLECTION AS A ONE OF A KIND ITEM. I HAVE BEEN HOLDING ON TO THIS FOR YEARS BUT DECIDED IT WAS TIME TO GIVE A TRUE ELVIS COLLECTOR (OR BUDDY HOLLY COLLECTOR) THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE THIS IN THEIR COLLECTION
Remember, when you buy this RARE PROMO LP, you are getting a one of a kind item. Also note if it is not apparent in the picture it is not a full size lp but more the size of an EP but at 33 1/3 rpm lp speed. That was the how this promo was released.
Also, keep in mind that this and all shows are not just about the music - the music can be found anywhere. It is the mixture of great music and great announcing that makes it so entertaining. As well, it is a piece of radio history. You just aren't going to find these shows anymore. Think of what they will be worth in a few years! (IF you wanted to sell.) I am selling to share with other music lovers what I was able to get at a reasonable price
