I am listing some of my "SOLID GOLD COUNTRY" shows.
It is a daily ONE hour ONE LP show in immaculate condition looking like it was never played before and in fact it was probably played the day it aired and that's it.
It comes with its cue sheets which are in excellent condition.
Now, as to the show itself. It is the companion series to Solid Gold Scrapbook, an oldies series also on the United Stations Radio Network.
Each show features the best country music ever compiled in an hour theme.
The show aired daily for one hour or as a weekend five hour special depending on the needs of the syndicating station.
The concept of a different theme for each show was relatively unique and extremely popular over the years. The show started as an lp show in the same format and evolved into CD's along with the rest of the industry.
The show comes on one LP in beautiful new condition along with its cue sheet in excellent condition.
It is an hour of high energy country classics and you will love it. You will learn a lot about music through this great show and the mix of music is terrific. In addition each show contains a variety of interviews that are rare and unique to the show.

It features CLASSIC CONTEMPORARY OLDIES from the top country artists of all time in an entertaining and fascinating format While most country shows were content to focus on the top tunes of the week which was fun, this show focused on the entire genre of country music from the songwriters, producers, artists, and hits of a particular week.
