Description
Original 1997 UK first pressing of OK Computer on Parlophone (NODATA 02). True collector copy with the correct white Parlophone labels, original printed inner sleeves, gatefold jacket, and the famous runout etching: “I’m an important person, would you like to come home with me?”
This is the sought-after UK first press identifiable by the original NODATA 02 catalog number, white “eeny / meeny / miny / moe” labels, and first-issue deadwax inscriptions. Later heavyweight reissues add additional matrix etchings (such as 8552291) that are not present on true first pressings, which helps separate this copy from the common represses. (Hi-Fi News)
Condition is VG overall. Vinyl retains strong gloss with light hairlines / sleeve marks visible under direct light. Sleeve shows honest shelf and edge wear consistent with age, as shown in photos. Includes all original inner sleeves and inserts pictured.
A centerpiece copy of one of the most important albums of the 1990s, and increasingly hard to find in true UK first pressing form.
