Description
For sale is Ralph Towner's Solstice. It was released in 1975 by ECM Records. It is the first pressing and features Jan Garbarek, Eberhard Weber and Jon Christensen. I bought this new and played it carefully on a reference quality turntable and cartridge. One of the first things I do after buying and playing a record is to put it away in a protective inner sleeve like a MFSL or equivalent. This protects the integrity of any inserts or inner sleeves that may exist as well as the record itself. There are no original inner sleeves with this listing. The Vinyl is Near Mint. The cover is Excellent with some ring wear and corner blunting. The spine is Near Mint. I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
