2 record lot--well-loved, solid players--by The Ramones, 1st press Sire lps:
1) Vinyl lp 12" ROCKET TO RUSSIA, released 1977 in the US on Sire (SR 6042). No barcode. Stamped STERLING in the run-outs. Printed dust sleeve included. Vinyl = vg; light surface hairlines betray minimal noise, sound is crisp. Cover = vg; care-worn edges, NO splitting. Dust sleeve = vg; 3 edges are partially split, no rips or stains.
2) Vinyl lp 12" ROAD TO RUIN, released 1978 in the US on Sire (SRK 6063). No barcode. Stamped STERLING in the run-outs. Printed dust sleeve included. Vinyl = vg; light surface hairlines betray minimal noise, sound is crisp. Cover = vg+; light edge wear, NO splitting; Dust sleeve = vg; one edge is taped (photo 11); 1" split on opposite edge; crimped from handling, NO stains.
