Description


Mega Rare LP of Randy Weston - Uhuru Africa  (Roulette R-65001 - mono)  Original white "roulette wheel" label edition with deep groove rings on both sides - NOT a current re-issue!  Legendary session session for pianist Weston features a multitude of jazz stars including Sahib Shihab, Freddie Hubbard, Max Roach, Yusef Lateef, Gigi Gryce, Ron Carter, and many others in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without. 


The LP is in VG+ condition with marks that will make noise and with much of the original shine - not for the audiophile, but not trashed either - still, you will hear noise on this one.  The cover is in VG/VG+ condition with general age/shelf wear, clear tape on the top and bottom seams and bits of writing on the front, the back, and inside the gatefold.  NOT perfect, but how many of these do you see at any price?


The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).

Mailing costs have gone up.  Postal rates have increased dramatically, the cost of record mailers has increased and e-bay now charges a fee for mailing - in addition to Paypal’s fees on mailing payments.   I have done what I can to keep mailing costs down, but I have no control over these increases.

International mailing costs:   International overseas mailing (Europe, Japan, Asia etc…) for one LP would be $29.00.  This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on mailing, Paypal fees on mailing as well as mailers and packing materials.   One LP to Canada would be $20.00

US mailing costs:  Media mail rate as calculated to a U.S. address.  This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on mailing, Paypal fees on mailing as well as the cost of mailers and packing materials.
