Description
Bought at an estate sale in Lafayette, LA.
From the recording studios in Crowley, LA. of the legendary music writer, producer, publisher J.D. Miller comes Leroy 'Happy Fats' Leblanc, 'Doc' Guidry and the Boys with some early country prior to their Cajun recording careers!
As an amateur record collector of a few 78 rpm records, I(i.e. me personally) have never seen a 78 rpm in this fine of a visual condition. It has an 'E' prefix in its numbering(E-1001) and other FAIS-DO-DO I have seen have a 'F' prefix. Not sure what significance that is as it may be or may not be important !
Not a record grader by any means so I won't even attempt to grade it but I did play it on my normal phonograph and it sounds really, really good(no static, etc.). Stunning condition for its age!!!!
I charged Priority Rates instead of Media Mail to ship this one because of its condition!
