Description

Rare 1953 Deacon ANDY GRIFFITH mono 10 inch 78. Colonial Records E3-KB-7684. What It Was, Was Football part 1 b/w What It Was, Was Football part 2. This is the original pressing of this comedy monologue. It was the big  break that started the then 19 year old Andy Griffith’s career. It was recorded in 1953 in Greensboro North Carolina and released by the Colonial Records in Chapel Hill. Capitol Records released it later on. The record is in VG++ condition.
