Up for auction is a rare 1961 first pressing James Brown Lp titled Night Train.This Lp contains 6 instrumental James Brown tracks along with 6 tracks from 6 other bands.Listed under the James Brown section in the price guides.This is on the silver and black colored Crownless King label # 771.Guaranteed to be a first pressing original 1961 Lp.There was 3 cover titles all for this same record.This was the very first cover title which is Night Train which this is the rarest cover title.The second cover was titled Twist Around and The third cover title was Jump Around.There was only 1 record title only for all the 3 covers which was Twist Around which is what the title is on both record labels Please see picture.The record was always titled Twist Around for all 3 covers.So this is the absolute correct record for this cover.Interesting James Brown Lp as I believe all songs are only instrumentals with James Brown and His band.Please see pictures for the other 6 bands.Nice looking cover.The top and bottom seam are both completely split.Corners have a little wear but not bad as the worst being the upper right corner Please see picture.Looks to have about a dozen small scratches in various locations on front cover.Most are light except for a few.Has an extremely light stain near upper right hand corner on front cover Please see picture to see how very light and small this is.Back cover very nice condition Please see picture.The record has lots and lots of scratches on both sides with quite afew that can be felt with fingernail.Record has scuffing marks also.Record has some groove wear on both sides but still has some shine.Theres a little more groove wear on last 2 songs on side 1.If the buyer is not 100% satisfied I have a return for refund policy on all records I sell.I,ll be listing some more early Rare James Brown Crownless King label Lps over the next week or so.Please check other auctions if you like.I also combine multiple Lp auctions to save on shipping.
