Description
On offer here is a Mega Rare!! first pressing of the KING CRIMSON’S 1969 UK original LP titled “IN THE COURT OF THE CRIMSON KING” on ISLAND RECORDS (Pink labels with white I ).
King Crimson personnel were Ian McDonald, Mike Giles, Pete Sinfield, Greg Lake & Robert Fripp.
Tracks are; 21st Century Schizoid man including Mirrors - I Talk To The Wind - Epitaph - March For No Reason - Tomorrow & Tomorrow - Moonchild - The Dream - The Illusion - The Court Of The Crimson King - The Return Of The Fire Witch - The Dance of The Puppets.
Whilst not in mint condition it’s not bad some marks, mainly surface just the odd one giving light clicks from time to time but overall not spoiling the listening pleasure, would grade as VG+.
Gatefold cover too VG+, is fully intact, but does have shelf wear to edges, although spine is clear and readable.There is also a small (what looks like paint splash) on front and a personal message written on the inside.
Side one record label has previous owners name written on it and a small plastic sticker is also stuck on (see scan)
I also include with this item an original 1969 New Musical Express press cutting which was found with the record.
