Description
Often when a record is described as "rare" a quick internet search reveals that about twelve copies have been sold in the past three years; not this time. This superb quality 1970 pressing on the UK Bamboo label in excellent condition credited to "Burning Spears" dates from the time when Winston Rodney's name was virtually unknown, and the record was pressed in a small quantity. It's a UK issue of a very rare 45 released in Jamaica on Supreme - both 45s have the same B-side - Larry Marshall's excellent "Let's Make It Up", falsely credited here to the non-existent Irvin Brown. So far as I know only one UK and one JA copy of this have surfaced at auction in recent years, so if you miss it this time you might have a long wait for another copy to come up.
