Sub Zero Band – “Same’ (No Label SZ 1172). This rare West Coast Psych LP by the Sub Zero Band has the same title. This is a 1971 Northern California original pressing. Engineered by “Recording Associates, Webster-Ross”. Rural hippy rock with acoustic guitar, percussion, bass, pedal steel, and electric violin and guitar that is reminiscent of Shiva's Head Band while some cuts sound very Jefferson Airplanish.. Cuts include, “Home Grown Woman”, “Home Is Where Your Head Is”, “Tom Cat Blues”, “Simple Man”, “Morning Sky”, “40 Shades of Blue”, “Song To Sing”, “Sidewalk Shuffle”, and “Too Many Religions”. This is an original and not the more recent repressing. Record is in VG- to VG condition (some light surface noise but still plays OK) and comes in a plain white jacket (no original jacket ever existed). Better pick it up now because it may well be a long time before you see another copy of this one. Postage & insurance will be paid by purchaser
