Both labels have very minor wear (keep in mind this IS a 52 year old record, if it doesn't have SOME wear, something's wrong!) and there is an NR stamp on the A side label as shown in the picture.
Vinyl:
A side: strong VG to VG+
B side: strong VG to VG+
There are some scuffs on this record but no major scratches, (VG to VG+ is my grade under a 60 watt desk lamp..... under normal room light the disc looks visually near mint however I have downgraded it due to the scuffs I can see under my desk lamp -- this disc was also pressed on what appears to be recycled vinyl so it is a little noisy)....you can hear how the record sounds in the following clips and judge for yourself:

I HAVE NOT cleaned this 45! Due to the extreme rarety of this disc, the record is being sold as I received it! I bought the record as a favor to a friend who asked me about it for a project they were working on, however by the time I got the disc, they no longer needed it. I don't really need the record for my own collection and want to see it end up in the hands of a collector of rare group harmony records who will take good care of it. I will leave it up to the buyer to clean the disc, I did not want to damage any part of the record by trying to clean it myself. This record was also issued on Red Top records (with a different B side, I believe) but the Cameo issue is considerably rarer and almost never turns up for sale (I know of one other person who has a copy of the record and they told me theirs is not in as good of a condition as this one!).
My reserve price is very fair given how rarely this 45 has ever come up for sale as an original pressing in recent years, especially in this good of a condition.
This is absolutely an ORIGINAL pressing with E.K. hand written into the trail out of both sides (either side also has C-156-A and C-156-B handwritten in the deadwax areas). I have consulted with three major record collector friends about this 45 and they all consider this one to be a practical holy grail among doo wop and group harmony records. They all agree that this is the real deal original first pressing for the record (complete with being pressed on a bit of recycled vinyl -- in 1958 they did anything to save a few cents per record) and they all were quite surprised that I had this record, considering the type of music I actually collect (leaning more towards mid 1960's rock and pop). I spent several weeks contemplating what to do with this record and decided I'd rather let it go and let someone else enjoy it than to just let it sit in my own collection and never get played....so here is your chance to grab this ultra rare 45 from me!

Shipping & Handling in the U.S. and Canada is $3.50 for the first 45 for first class mail, 25 cents for each additional 45. Outside of the U.S. my shipping and handling charge for standard non-insured air mail is $8.00 for the first 45 and $1 for each additional 45. I will only ship to Italy or Spain if you add $19 for registered mail due to the large number of packages that seem to get lost over there, otherwise i will not ship to Italy or Spain. The winner must pay for their item within 14 days of winning the auction, and the item may be returned for a refund of the original purchase price if the item is sent back within 14 days of the date I shipped the item out, with original packaging included.
