There are some killer 60's budget lable psych lps out there, but hard to find especially in nice condition. This is a u.s. pressing, thick vinyl lp by THE HAIRCUTS AND THE IMPOSSIBLES. Called: CALL IT SOUL! it is on the SOMERSET label #SF-33400.I played one side of this lp and budget label or not it sounded excellent, with terrific sound quality and dynamics and lots of fuzz guitar. There are 10 tunes some are: WHY DON'T WE DO IT IN THE ROAD/BUN BUSTER/BILLY'S BLUES/SOCK IT MY WAY/DOWN, DOWN AND GONE/INSIDE LOOKING OUT/etc. This is a nicely pressed record with a very deep gloss shine, and NO defects. Labels are Mint with NO spindle marks Playing surfaces have NO scratches, scuffs,or groove wear, under close inspection you see a few light surface marks that do not affect play. When I played the one side it played crystal clear with NO annoying background noise just an occasional very soft background tick here and there. The cover does have mild wear but looks much better in person. NO seam or spine splits, but they are starting to flake, No cut outs, or bent corners. If you search for the best and rarest 60's psych lps consider adding this one to your collection a tough find especially in this nice CONDITION: COVER VG+/LP NM-.
