Description
Here is an extremely rare variation of the late Eddie Kirkland's first solo recording, issued in 1952 after touring with John Lee Hooker's band. It is pressed on a slightly flexible 7" disc and plays at 78 rpm. It is much harder to find than the 10" shellac. The titles are "That's All Right" and "It's Time for Lovin' to Be Done." The disc is in VG++ to EX condition. The play surface is clean and playback is excellent on both sides. One of the labels has a small scrape just above the center hole (see pic #3 above). This is one of only a few copies of this variation that have surfaced.
