Description
Vert Rare - One for the ardent collector - I have never seen another one of these; it is not priced on Discogs or any other database I can find. Disc is from Alberta Hunter backed by Fletcher Henderson, released 1923 USA. Cover generic. Disc is in poor condition (so would you be at 98 years old!). Pressed on what was known as brown shellac (more red/brown or maroon) with original blue Paramount label (no. 1321). Label worn & faded. Disc with many surface marks and small surface scratches as befits its age. No major deep scratches, cracks or other damage: plays OK, but needs a good system to filter out noise. I have no idea of value, so I am pricing high-ish to start in the hope that someone out there knows what it is worth and gives me a fair price considering it is nearly 100 years old
