Description

A sparkling and beautiful copy of Al Jolson's Brunswick 6502 Jolson sings "April Showers" and Rock-a-bye Your Baby…" w/ Guy Lombardo's Orchestra.
Recorded in the depths of the depression ( December 1932 ) Jolson was paid $50,000 to record five sides for Brunswick.. and they didn't sell (and Jolson didn't record again until 1945 (for Decca).  This is an exceptional copy of one of Jolson's rarest commercial records. I doubt whether a better copy exists. It looks like it was pressed last week. Media Mail is $6.50, and not any lesser amount that might erroneously appear within this listing. Postage extra outside U.S., to be applied with invoice. Europe is $25.00 Winner PLEASE wait for invoice before paying, to allow proper postage to be applied. .. see my other jazz and personality records and ephemera currently offered ..
