Notes

Sticker on shrink wrap reads:
"Music On Vinyl
Classic Album
180 gram audiophile vinyl pressing
www.musiconvinyl.com"

Different tracklisting than the original release. On original release "Down In A Hole" was the second-to-last track, some later reprints move it to track 4 instead. This vinyl version moves it to track 4, which also means the Side B opener ("Dirt") is instead track B2 and the Side A closer ("Junkhead") is the new Side B opener.

B4 is not listed on the jacket or label.

Includes a printed inner sleeve with lyrics & credits.

  • dedalus2k Jun 24, 2024 Sounds phenomenal, but my copy has some pretty serious surface noise, unfortunately. Even after multiple wet cleanings there's still lots of crackles and pops. It's only obvious between tracks so it's not too obnoxious. Reply Helpful
    • Eliotwilliams90 May 1, 2024 Echo a lot of comments here about cranking this record. I think its the only one i've listened to in my collection where i have to go up to -19.5db on my amp to make it sound best. If not the guitars are a bit lost in the mix.

For comparison something like PJ Ten i would have at around -21db and most records these days about -25 Reply 1 Helpful
      • Kirky70 Jan 23, 2024 Edited 7 months ago It’s a MOV pressing. Nothing more needs to be said really!! Absolutely superb. These guys love vinyl and it shows!! Reply 1 Helpful
        • WolfgangJZV Jan 6, 2024 I have a nice copy to sell, If someone want to buy it send me a DM Reply Helpful
          • PruittFranks Dec 15, 2023 no idea why some people don’t like this pressing. especially if you dig the original mix. it’s definitely a little more “compressed” than the 2022 remix but in my opinion it’s more true to the album. it’s not compressed in the way you think when you hear that word. i’d almost say it’s more focused. the instrument separation is still there and is especially fantastic on Rooster.

over all i’m a huge fan of it and will probably spin it more than the 2022 version. plus you don’t have to flip it every 2-3 songs. as long as you crank it up a little extra it should give you absolutely no issues. 8/10 Reply See 1 reply 2 Helpful
            • OliverTom80 Aug 13, 2023 Bought it sealed in 2019 for £29.. it sounds like a CD, unsure why so many people are raising the prices for this. The 2022 repress sounds much better Reply See 2 replies 1 Helpful
              • SeasOfCheese117 Aug 8, 2023 I wish I sold my copy when the market was inflated haha! Although I knew it would get repressed, it was tempting, this album just can’t leave my hands ever. Too important. Reply Helpful
                • weissja36 Apr 10, 2023 I compared them and I much prefer this MOV pressing to the new 2022 2LP. More dynamic, whiter background and just overall a better listen. I’ve been picky with my MOV titles and when they get it right they really get it right. Too bad this one has shots up in price so high, it’s gonna make it harder for true fans to get a hold of. • ScrunglyScrimblo Jan 22, 2023 Edited one year ago Suprisingly good sound quality for 1 hour of music pressed to a single disc.
The sound can compete with remastered CD copies easily. Reply Helpful
                    • art_of_vinyl Dec 13, 2022 why is this still overpriced? it doesn’t worth anything above 30$.

It’s a decent sounding issue and can be had as a secondary variant to latest 2x Reissue! Reply See 1 reply 6 Helpful
