 Rare American Recording Society Membership Card Welcome Letter Jazz Booklet Lot

The American Recording Society was founded in 1951 to promote American composers, principally of classical music. Under its mail-order book club model they created a number of commercial record clubs, or music subscription services, including the American Recording Society – Jazz series, which was active between 1956 and 1957.
