Description
Lyric Tenor Philip Manuel sings the Aria from "The Magic Flute" by Mozart accompanied by Gavin Williamson. Released on the Autograph Records label in Chicago - a very scare label to find in any condition.
Record is very clean with nice label.
Condition is E- (using VGM grading scale).
Orlando R. Marsh founded Marsh Laboratories, Inc. in Chicago, Illinois and launched the Autograph label to release recordings made at his studio. Marsh was a pioneer of electrical recording, and Autograph used primitive electrically recorded masters, making it the first American record company to issue electrical recordings on a regular commercial basis. Early Autograph labels did not mention the electrical process. Autograph records were pressed and sold in small quantities and are quite scarce today.
