Really nice Beatles’ Rare STEREO Butcher Cover, 2nd State Unpeeled! Very few issues with this one folks. Original 1966 release on Capitol ST 2553. This is a West Coast #5 pressing with the correct orange sleeve and number. Ringo’s back V neck sweater is clearly visible under the trunk cover. As you can see in photos, a small piece of trunk cover was removed on lower right to show butcher slick underneath too but no tear to the butcher slick....pretty white on both sides of cover with minor storage wear after 54 years. Evidence of a removed sticker on back cover but no tear. Some black rub marks on front cover lower left. Very little seam splits at all. Lower right seam has a hard to see 1” split and approximate 2”split on lower left seam. Corner rubs. Left side seam shows some minor wear and small paper missing where shown in photo. Can’t see any split on top seam except corner rubs. Look at the photos.....One of the nicer covers short of a sealed one on ebay. Inner sleeve in good condition with folds and a few tears on top. PE-12-3BL...vinyl is glossy but has been played. Lots of minor scratches on both sides but plays through. Asterisk * factory stamped into trail off area denoting West Coast pressing. Small handwritten “20” on side 2 in 1 o’clock position. Looks like spindle holes have been touched up with marker. No big deal to me at least since cover is the most important part.
