Up for auction is a Rare Beatles’ Vee Jay album “Songs, Pictures, and Stories of the Fabulous Beatles” with the rare orange day glo STEREO sticker with black print and version 2 stereo vinyl album! Great starter copy for the young collector or collector that doesn’t have this one yet. Most everyone knows the story of how Vee Jay inserted “Introducing the Beatles” discs into these cool covers. Gatefold cover with some issues. See photos for detail but note sticker or tape residue on middle left of front cover; there are some black magic marker dots on top and bottom of front cover. Don’t know why they are there because they don’t appear to cover in damage in the black paper areas; 2” seam split in middle of open cover; corner bumps and rubs; no seam splits except 2” in middle of left seam but there is missing paper here and there and cracks where seen in photos; Vinyl is VG in poor condition with scratches and marks on both sides but plays through. STEREO at 3 o’clock position on labels. Monarch pressing with “MR” in circle factory pressed into trail off area. “The Beatles” above the spindle holes....comes with Red Vee Jay “Gospel” inner sleeve (not pictured) in vg condition but should be replaced.
