Guitariste du midi de la France, Bousquet est l’auteur dans les années 60 d’un superbe Hommage à Django devenu quasi introuvable aujourd’hui... mais qui l’a rendu quasi mythique au sein de la petite communauté d’amateurs de swing gitan !
Grand technicien de la guitare, Bousquet (1925-1998) était un sportif : il pouvait parait-il casser les six cordes de son instrument par un seul coup de médiator... c'est la légende qui le dit.
Son jeu très virtuose a impressionné voire inspiré plus d'un guitariste, et non des moindre puisqu'Alain Antonietto nous rappelle "qu'Elec Bacsik ou Matelo Ferret ne furent pas les derniers à professer une grande admiration pour (ses) performances instrumentales...".
Guitariste du midi de la France, il a exercé son art en Afrique du Nord (comme un autre célèbre gitan... !), en Camargue et surtout à Marseille, "Au Son des Guitares", ville dans laquelle il a fini sa vie en vendant des chaussures...
Il a peu enregistré : son fameux "Hommage à Django" sur des standards joués acoustique, "Au Son des Guitares" avec quelques morceaux évoquant son goût des ballades corses, et quelques 45 tours joués électrique.

VG+ : may have light surface scratches or a little wear, but plays nicely with only minimal surface noise and clicks. Cover is still nice but with a little wear. VG : "typical used record", a little wear, a few minor scratches but plays well. Surface noise may be more present during soft passages. Cover will have evident ring wear. G : more wear and significant surface noise. Cover will have more than one split or tear.Important Notice
