Description
This is a rare, possibly one-of-a-kind, acetate by Patty Lee & the Dee-Jays, recorded in the 1960s at the Variety Recording Service in New York. After some research, I found that Chazz Palminteri was in the band when he was beginning his career and before he became an actor. The songs on the record are Come Saturday Night, a great dance vocal, and Richie's Blues, an enjoyable instrumental. The record is in VG+/VG condition, with nice labels, with the names of the band and songs typed onto them. The acetates has scuffs and scratches and generally plays through fine with minor surface noise, though there are a couple of clicks in the instrumental. Shipping and handling costs in the U.S. are $4.00; insurance is an optional $2.00. I welcome overseas bidders and base shipping costs on first class rates, usually $6.00 for one 45 to Europe or Japan. International bidders are responsible for customs costs. New York bidders are responsible for New York sales tax. I'll ship the record after the payment clears. Happy bidding and good luck!
