Description
Found this LP in with a large bunch of records I bought. I understand that it is more than a bit rare.
It's Hard Driving Rain by the Cecil Taylor Quintet. The Quintet is Cecil Taylor, "Blue Train" who is John Coltrane, Kenny Dorham, Chuck Israels, Louis Hayes.
The cover is very good, high gloss with only a small amount of corner/edgewear wear.
This is the 1959 release on the red label for United Artists. (UAL 4014).
The record is glossy with great labels and is Mono (High Fidelity).
The record does have some minor surface scratches, none that can be felt with your finger.
A great surprise when I was preparing to take photos was to find the 1959 Jazz Insert from United Artists!
