Description
This is an original vinyl pressing of the self titled LP by Chi Rho on Aslan Records. I'm guessing it's early to mid 1970s. This is a unique Xian psych rock record that features unusual instrumentation as well as a lot of proselytizing and some pretty "out there" tunes. The song "An Essay On Man", is a really "out there" epic that winds up the record. It's a long tune and takes up a good part of side two. Chi Rho also features a Byrds cover. The front cover art is killer. It's reverse negative black and gold with a touch of red. This LP was released as "An Outreach of Jud Youth Ministries, Inc." This copy has the rare insert. Song titles are: Broad Way, I'm So Tired, Are You ?, Jesus Said, Jesus Is Just All Right With Me, He'll Be There, An Essay On Man - I. Question II. Decision III. Prayer, The Answer. The cover of this LP is VG++. The vinyl is visually EX. Just a few scuffs. The insert is VG+ because of one small corner being dog eared.
