Unusual early 60s LP Private Issue LP from SPADE Records, New Orleans, LA...  "THE FUDGERIPPLE FOLLIES Or NOBODY LIKES A SMART ASS: A Musical Satire" 


SPADE LP #101...Autographed private issue LP from the early 60s, spoofing and satirizing the Freedom Riders/ Civil Rights movement of the era... Signed on the back by all three main performers of this Cabaret revue, Bill Holliday, Walter Perseveaux, and D.J. Butch Benit... Performed for three years at the Cabaret Theatre of the Original Absinthe House Bar on New Orleans famed Bourbon Street... Characters include Martin Luther Queen, Filthy McNasty, Lena Daze and others.. Strange stuff, for sure... RARE! Condition of the jacket; VG+, autographed, slight age/ wear.  Condition of the vinyl; EX or NM, light wear/ slight pressing inferiority. 

Records are graded per "GOLDMINE" standards: SS= Still Sealed... M= Perfect...NM= Near Perfect...EX= Not Quite NM!...VG+= some wear, slight damage...VG= wear, some damage...G+= considerable wear, damage...Good, Fair. VISA, MC, DISCOVER are all OK.
