A rare and collectable Bowie Single.

David Bowie - The Laughing Gnome / The gospel according to Tony Day.

A first pressing vinyl of these excellent tunes, indicated by its inverted Matrix number and its date (1967) on the left side of the label.

Both sides of the Vinyl play very well.

The Vinyl is overall in very good condition aesthetically with a few light markings. As you can see there is a name written on the label and a small white dot mark on the right side of the label in the runoff area.

The generic Deram Sleeve is in reasonably good condition.

1967 push-out centre edition with label matrix DR 39798 / 39799 printed upside down (inverted) above the cat number.

Unlike the 1973 re-release of The Laughing Gnome which has the numbers the right way up. Only copies with inverted matrices on the A and B labels are the original release.

In addition, you can further distinguish this from the '73 re-release as the date '1967' appears on the left hand side of the labels whereas on the later issue this date appears on the right hand side.
