Rare ERROLL GARNER Columbia "A Portrait of EG" 4 disc promo only 13" x 12 1/2" spiral bound book. This hard cover, die cut book contains 6 pages of bio info. and pictures and 4 records. Closes tight with two metal snaps. Made to promote the "Soliloquy" album, the book contains the complete "Soliloquy" album plus 3 more discs, each side containing several selections from his six other Columbia albums. These albums were specially pressed for this book. Each disc has an album cover slick on each side. Each cover is stapled to an extension that has the holes for the spiral bound spine. In other words the spiral holes are not in the covers. Covers are in M- condition with exception of one very small 1/2" split at the top of one of the covers. Each record has a special Columbia white promo label. The records look as though they were played only once, with light sleeve scuffs. The "Other Voices" side has some marks on the surface that cannot be felt. The cover is in excellent condition with a couple of marks on the back of the simulated leather cover. Light corner bumps. The pages are all intact, no tears. A truly unusual item and a must have for the true Garner fan. Is that you? Reasonable reserve on this item.
