        • akarawee.l Nov 25, 2020 Edited 3 years ago In my opinion this is way better than any digital source. Amy's voice was so sweet. I got so much goose bums. I think the fact that this album contains so much distorted guitar helps with the source limitation. The engineer was able to mix the sweetness of Amy's voice with the strong aggressive guitar.           • speedingdeacon Sep 11, 2020 This release sounds better than I expected, but was far from perfect. The mastering is smooth and full. The sound does degrade a little on the second half of side 1, but not to the point of distortion. Side 2 does not suffer from this issue as much, but my side 2 had quite a few imperfections that caused clicks and pops during a few songs. The song affected the most was “Hello”, which is the most quiet and beautiful song on the album. This really disappointed me and, frankly, made me angry. There is no excuse for nicks and scratches from the factory. The other big issue that I had with my copy was that the LP was covered in specks of white paper cemented into the grooves and required a deep wet cleaning before being playable. All gripes aside, the LP is well pressed and the jacket & printed inner sleeve are good quality. Judging by the poor reviews regarding sound quality on all of the other vinyl reissues of this album, this one may be the best option for the time being. Reply Helpful
