Welcome back to another round of the world's rarest Soul and Funk vinyl, courtesy waterpolo85.
Please note that all items being offered are ORIGINAL, VINTAGE PRESSINGS; I do not deal in reissues or bootlegs.
For your consideration, we have: THE INVADERS "Spacing Out" on Duane Records, circa 1970 or so. One of the rarest and best funk LPs in existence. Coveted starting in the '80s by psych collectors for the gratuitous space echo and prominent wah guitar lead, funk enthusiasts discovered it in the early '90s. Since then, few if any funk LPs have been unearthed to top it in terms of pure consistency. (Perhaps if the Mickey and the Soul Generation LP had come out it would have held that title, but for now this Invaders LP arguably tops them all.) Tracks include: "It's Your Thing (Part 1 & 2)," "Lost Time," "The House That Jack Built," "Look A Py Py," "Spacing Out," and 4 more.

Condition: this original, vintage copy is Cover: VG to VG+. Front cover looks attractive, but the top seam is completely split. There is 2" of clear tape on the top and bottom right seams, and the back cover has considerable ringwear. Vinyl: strong VG to VG+, with a light layer of marks. No deep scuffs or anything ugly. As the soundclips will attest, the play grade is VG+ to M-, depending on the loudness of the track. Overall this is still a solid, fileable copy of this extremely rare LP.

U.S. Customers: INSURANCE IS MANDATORY ON ALL ORDERS OVER $100, and will be quoted specifically at the end of the auction. Overseas customers: REGISTERED MAIL IS MANDATORY ON ALL ORDERS OVER $100, at an added expense of $10.15. All orders totaling over $300 require global express mail with tracking which costs $26 for the first LP and $3 for each additional.
