On offer here is a VERY rare LP by Van Der Graaf Generator called “The Aerosol Grey Machine”
This is an ORIGINAL 1969 GERMAN 1st Pressing on the “Fontana” label.
Originally planned as a Peter Hammill solo album before Van der graaf Generator signed to Charisma, this album was only released as a VDGG album as part of a deal to release Hammill from his contract with Mercury Records.
As such, it could be seen to be a companion piece to “Fool’s Mate” which was to become his ‘official’ 1st solo venture and released on Charisma in 1971.
A fascinating album for anyone interested in Hammill’s work and worth if for the stand out track “Necromancer” alone.
