Okay, so...this isn't really a 'bootleg' record. Kornyfone was a pretty significant label, and that's what this is. 

Kornyfone records are, however, quite rare and low production. This one is 'The Dead Non Stop', recorded live in 1980. Not sure this isn't the same concert from which the live footage in 'The Grateful Dead Movie' were filmed. Very similar era to Dead Set.

What comes in this lot: Two records, each in dust cover. The records don't even have labels in the middle. Just black. You get the white paperboard sleeve. There is nothing printed on that white sleeve. Then there is the front and back printed matter. One is the cover for this particular recording, the front. Then the back is the general Kornyfone back sleeve cover.

I'd think these normally would have been glued to the white sleeve, but they weren't in this case. They are just slipped into the plastic dust cover and amazingly have survived.

Condition: Definitely playable, though I've not tried in more than 10 years. The fidelity is not the best in the recording. Never has been. This is more of a novelty item than something you want to listen to. Which is not to say you shouldn't.. it's still The Dead, and it's still great! Give the records a good cleaning before you put them on your turntable, as these have been in storage for years.

I'm a pretty big fan of The Dead, and I've had tens of thousands of records pass through my ownership. I have NEVER seen another copy of this one. I've had a few other Kornyfones, but never this one.
