Description
This one is rare as hen's teeth, and very well known. And I'll be the first to admit that this copy looks terrible. Actually the popcorn side doesn't look quite as evil as the picture makes it seem. But pristine it's not. Here's the thing: The "Amazing Love" side plays fine on my machine, with no more surface noise than many another old 45 I love and play often. With the possible exception of a skip in the first bars--I can't tell if it's a defect or that's how it's cut. I'm being ultra suspicious for your benefit. On the basis of play on the Amazing Love side alone--not countying anything else--I'd call it solid VG, and a bit better. But on the Popcorn side there's deifintely a jump or two in the opening bars. After that it plays VG, no better--but for me that's not the side with the attraction. Then there's the labels. And these labels are rough. And like I say the wax looks rough too, even though it plays okay. Overall: VG-. I'm not here to bone anybody--read my feedbacks and bid confidently. This is a very rare record.
