Welcome !

I'm a record collector, not a dealer and I don't mean to boast when I say that this is one of the best copies on Ebay right now but I firmly believe it is. I hope the photos do the record and cover justice because they both are extremely clean !

First, I found it at a tag sale with other records of the same era in the same condition. The record was actually still wrapped but because the rear film is torn I can remove it to get clear photos of the beautiful cover underneath, then replace it. The wrapping has a discount price sticker on it !

The cover is beautiful; first the flaws: The top seam has light compression from the opening that continues for 2/3 the length of the seam. At it's worst it's about 1/8 "onto the cover above the " i " in " introducing... " . This seam is not split but it is compressed. The bottom corner of the opening is frayed about 1/8 " into the cover and the lower rear corner has slight compression and fraying. On the rear of the cover is some extremely light scratching on the middle column between the song titles to the left of " Baby It's You ". That's it !

There are no split seams at all. The back is very white with just the scuffing I mentioned above. The front has beautiful color with no scuffs at all.

The disc has beautiful labels with no tears, writing, scuffs, spindle marks, ect. The colors are bright and everything is very clean. The disc itself is gorgeous with no scratches. Side 1 has " Audio Matrix " and  a conjoined " MR " in a circle stamped below the label and an etched " A " and " A 5702 " ( which is upside down ) on top of the label.  Side 2 has the two stamps but above the label and " A " and  "  A  5702-X " etched below the label. The etched A with the numbers may be a triangle. Side 1 has a small group of very light scuffs about the size of a quarter. I actually had to search to find them again as I'm describing them. They are really negligible. I'm being very picky here because I want no suprises for whoever buys it. I want this to be a happy experience for all involved !  This is one of the most perfect discs I have ever seen in 28 years of collecting.

Obviously you can tell from the photos this record has " Love Me Do " and P.S. I Love You " on it. It's an oval logo which I understand is rare and the cover top and bottom inside has a 1/4 " fold-over seam which also seems to be important to collectors. George's shadow is slouching near the opening. The album has extremely high gloss as you can see from the photos. I'm wearing an orange colored shirt and you can see the window that is opposite me in some photos . I've played both sides through and it's very clean. No skips or crackle that I can detect, a rare very quiet pop but that's all. My equipment is very old ( 1979 ) and I really can't remember the last time I changed the needle. This is why a record of this high a caliber doesn't belong with me. I'm not an audiophile. I'm sure this record, played on quality equipment will sound as good as it looks !

That's about it . Ask any questions you may have and I'll try to answer. Please use the photos with the description; if you need more let me know. This is a No Reserve auction. I'll ship very carefully but the winner might want to consider insurance. Post Office insurance is very inexpensive. Delivery Confirmation of course. I'll pack it like the Holy Grail it is.

Goldmine lists the Near Mint value of this record at $ 800.00 . I usually hesitate to use terms like Near Mint because my NM may not be your NM. But I have no trouble going with NM minus on this record. I'm selling it because it's just too valuable an album to keep !  I have the music but the actual artifact sould be with someone who really desires it !

I'm starting the No Reserve auction at $ 300.00 which is less than some of the lower quality listings I've seen and there is a 3 day return policy. Please read my terms of sale. Good Luck if you decide to bid !
