Description

Piero Umiliani "L'Uomo E La Citta" This album was originally released as a production music LP, recorded in 1976 for Liuto Records, and very hard to find now – as only 300 copies ever were pressed. The music was used as a soundtrack to various documentaries on the italian TV, the most important of which was "L'Automobile" dedicated to FIAT in 1977.  On the big horizon of Library Music, this is one of the few "concept" albums within this genre. Soundtrack genius Umiliani creates a superb kaleiodoscope of city impressions, from cool modal jazz to uptempo big band soundtrack style. the funky tracks have hypnotic rhythm patterns, are full of hammond breaks and even electronic moog effects ! totally rare and highly recommended! both vinyl and the psychedelic pop art cover are in Ex+/M- condition! terms and conditions: I ship internationally by Registered Airmail only. winner pays shipping costs (contact me within 3 days after auction end with full name & adress and I'll get back to u with exact postal rates). payment options: paypal (buyer pays 2% surcharge), IPMO in EURO from european countries and Japan. Europe only: also direct bank transfer possible, strictly NO cash in letters! payment expected within 2 weeks or negative feedback without exception. any questions feel free to ask.
