Rare Joy Division ‘Still’ double vinyl LP, hardcover, 1st press 1981, FACT40 Vgc.
This is my own copy … carefully looked after since bought new in 1981 and kept bagged and only in smoke free environments.
Condition. Is fabulous and just about as good as you will find for this rarety. This is the hessian bound hardback double vinyl issue comprising 2 LPs, 2 grey round corner card sleeves. Inner gatefold sleeve with song info and grey hessian covered hard book cover with ribbon holding it all together.
The discs are in exceptional NM condition having been only played a couple of times. Glossy with no wear or scuffs. Labels bright and clean.
The inner grey card sleeves (I store in anti-static white) are in fine condition with no tears, wear or marks.. just slight fixing to edges as seen with all of these. Corners good.
Inner gatefold is mint condition, no marks, wear or yellowing.
Outer hessian cover is about as good as you will find. Inner white sides are bright and clean, no marks. Outer fabric cover is unfaded and has just the most minor signs of handling and a couple of grubby spots. Corners perfect and crisp.
All the correct runout data… ‘town house’ ‘chicken wont stop’ etc
Fabulous set. Hard to find better.
