Thank you for viewing my ad for an unplayed and rather rare compilation of original songs that inspired the Beatles, released in 1986. Many of the songs the Beatles grew up playing and recorded in their early years were R&B and roots rock numbers; this compilation includes the original verson of the songs they made famous all over again. Although not an import, this album was distributed by JEM Records of S. Plainfield, NJ, a major importer of Beatles records from England and other countries. Please remember this is NOT a Beatles LP, but contains some great tunes by artists the Beatles admired such as CHUCK BERRY ~ BUDDY HOLLY ~ LITTLE RICHARD ~ CARL PERKINS ~ SHIRELLES ~ ISLEY BROTHERS ~ MARVELETTES ~ MORE. CONDITION: SHOWS AS NEW. The record rated as Near Mint (NM) and the cover rated as Near Mint. Please examine the extra large photos top left corner, which are considered part of this description. This album has been in cool storage since the mid-'80s.
