Welcome back to another round of quality rare vinyl, courtesy waterpolo85. Over the years of picking up strange 45s for fun and pleasure, I have occasionally stumbled into a spare copy, which I am happy to offer here.
For your consideration, we have: DONALD ECKERT "Play It Slow" and "That's The Way It Is" on Wild Cat Records, circa 1983. Unlikely to be offered again, this is one of the best examples of its ilk I've ever heard; plodding, muted instrumentation meets depressed, dirge-like vocals...totally psychedelic and yet almost contemporary in its lack of optimism. One for the top collectors, check out the clips!
