Description:
Up for grabs is this rare 1955 7" Double EP version of Mambo For Cats, with the famous cover artwork by Jim Flora! Regarded as one of the finest covers produced by Jim Flora, this highly collectible EP is in excellent condition!
Condition (Cover):
The Cover is VG++, with no seam splits, tears, ringwear or writing, except '3.00' written in the top left corner on the back in pencil. Colors are bright and vibrant, and paper binding holding the two sleeves together is strong and tight, with no splits or tears.
There is very faint staining on the cover edge near the large bongo on the front right (hardly noticeable, but worth mentioning), and also a larger half dollar light stain on the back cover, top right. Nothing else to note.
Please ignore the pinkish hue in the centre of the photos, the sun was going down and doing odd things to the camera! There is no pink ring on any part of the cover.
Condition (Vinyl and Labels):
All 4 sides are VG++, with only very minor light surface scuffs. Vinyl is bright and shiny.
All four sides have been played through on a Garrard 4HF with Shure SC35C cartridge, with no skips, pops or otherwise.
Labels are very clean with no writing or tears. Superficial inner ring label wear on sides 1 and 2. 3 and 4 are NM with no markings whatsoever.
