Description
This an original ultra-rare John Mayall / Eric Clapton single (PURDAH 45 3502) Lonely Years / Bernard Jenkins, that I have owned from new. It has been very well played, and is not without scuffs and surface crackle (less noticeable on 'Bernard Jenkins'), and the rim has become slightly jagged in a couple of places, but it plays well without jumps and with only one click that I could detect. The label is clean and tidy, and the centre is intact. The plain white sleeve is probably not the original one. I'm not expert at rating discs, but I would conservatively suggest label = EX, Lonely Years is at least G/VG and Bernard Jenkins at least VG.
Only 500 of these were made, and many of those are in far worse condition than this one! On sale elsewhere (perhaps in better condition) at £650...

In response to queries: the 'jagged rim' is simply some small chips (no more than 2mm) outside the raised rim of the disc - the playing area is not affected.
