Description
This is a very rare US first edition and first pressing release of Michael Jackson’s Thriller from 1982. This copy also includes the co-producer error which does NOT list Michael Jackson on the back cover.
The matrix numbers etched on the vinyl runout are, “PAL 38112-2A” and “PBL 38112-2D”, indicating that this was produced during the first ever pressing of this record. It is extremely rare to find copies of this record with first pressing matrix numbers AND the co-producer print error.
As you can see from the pictures, this record was loved and enjoyed. It has some scratches, and the cover shows wear. It does not include the original inner sleeve. However, it still sounds wonderful, and is a piece of music history.
