Description

1960 performance by Sir Thomas Beecham and the RPO. Superb NM barely-played vinyl with almost no noticeable surface blemishes other than slight sleeve-withdrawal traces. The disc plays with lovely rich sound-- no jumps or repeats. This first pressing has the rare white and gold labels with no spindle tracks. The sleeve is in wonderful NM-/EX+ condition:  clean white rear-cover with just a hint of speckling; good firm-laminated front-cover. And excellent original inner sleeve.

The early stampers are side one: 2R,  & side two: 1O.

I rate this disc about as good as you will find, but if you do not agree then you may return it for a full refund.


These are part of a personal collection of 1950s,1960s and early 1970s Classical LPs ; most are in excellent or better condition; including several rarities, mainly Decca SXLs, EMI ASDs, Angel, and Mercury Living Presence Stereo:  Furtwangler, Kertesz, Oistrakh, Beecham etc. I am happy to receive wants lists if there is something you are particularly looking for.

I will be listing numbers of them individually throughout the next two weeks or so. So please review my other listings from time to time. They must go and are sold without reserve.

I grade according to Record Collector Magazine standards and I think you will like these recordings as much as I do; but if you don't, and you are not completely satisfied then everything is returnable.
