Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment.
Contemporary deep groove MONO original press vinyl LP C 3544 (Promo) 1st edition - released 1958
Deep groove vinyl excellent condition, no markings or spindle marks. Test played once on NAD C555 turntable. Side 1 virtually flawless. Side 2 has some (vinyl inherent) surface noise and a few clicks on tracks 1 and 2 - but which do not intrude on excellent overall sound. Cover is excellent with 'Sample Record' 'Not For Sale' stamped front / back. Straight firm broad spine and seams. Light edge discoloration consistent with age. A really beautiful looking AND sounding rare LP!
