*** Superb Greek Folk recordings from 1932 ***
Original 1932 12" US 78 rpm pressing (made for Greeks immigrants in the States). Unlike most 78s these were made on the large 12" format. Stunning Near Mint copy!
One of the queens of Greek folk music Roza Eskenazi sharing a record with a little lesser but also great female singer Marika Polytissa.
Both sides are phenomenal recordings with stunning accompaniment. Polytissa's recording is about the cafe amans (taverns) of (Smyrna?).
