This auction is for one of the most sought after Northern Soul singles of all time... from the Arabians on Le-Mans Records...I present to you "(Please) Take a Chance on Me" backed with "You Upset me Baby." This is an original copy of a legendary Northern Soul club oldie. This is Northern Soul at its best.
This record has an obvious imperfection, what happened here is that the adhesive under the center label of the "(Please) Take a Chance on Me" side let go over the years and the paper center label (somewhere along the line) got torn. This is a heart-breaker...I know...I am right there with you on this one. But, if you can get past the obvious this is a great record, which will likely sell of a marked discount. Perhaps someone out there with another copy could scan and print you a center label for this side. Under a bright light source the playable surfaces have numerous scuffs from time spent without a sleeve for protection. The overall grade (visual grade plus audio grade) of this record is as follows: Side A "You Upset Me Baby" = VG. Side B "(Please) Take a Chance on Me" = VG-.
