Description
"Bloated" b/w "Just Be Yourself" by Uptown Syndicate on Fat City Records, Oklahoma City, 1977. This is a great two-sider from the midwest, "Bloated" is a killer uptempo funk instrumental with great rhythm guitar breakdowns and syncopated horns. "Just Be Yourself" is great male vocal midtempo funky soul, almost like midtempo modern. Both sides recommended. Condition: VG++, all lite marks. Note that all copies pressed of this record were flawed resulting in slightly poor high-end fidelity on the "Bloated" side. Lots of soul, funk, rockabilly, northern soul 45s this month. I’ll be running more and more records in the coming weeks, so check back often. We absolutely DO NOT deal in bootlegs or reissues; all records are original. We do not pull auctions early out of fairness to everyone (so please do not ask). Records graded visually except where noted. PAYPAL PREFERRED, postal money orders or cash in registered envelope (your risk) also accepted. No Western Union. Shipping prices as follows: 1 45= $4 in the US (priority shipping), $5 overseas (air mail). 1 LP or 12 inch= $5 in the US (priority shipping), $12 overseas (air mail). Multiple items will be quoted. Not responsible for uninsured packages. Must receive payment within 10 days or risk negative feedback. No excuses please!!! Good luck!!! PS, one last note: If we describe a record as funk…it’s funk! If we say a record has a break beat…it will have a break beat! No deceptive sales tactics here, unlike some on eBay…;-}
