Description

You are bidding on an “Eddie Gale’s Ghetto Music” LP. This is the original 1968 Blue Note release with “Van Gelder” on the disc. As you can see, the outer sleeve is rough. The top right corner is cut off. There are water stains on the top left and left side. There’s wear all around the edges. The spine is almost totally gone. There’s staining on the inside flap. The slot where the disc goes has come totally unglued along the top and bottom. This requires a pretty simple fix, but I’ll let the buyer fix it. It has the original Liberty inner sleeve, but it’s torn and has a lot of creasing so I’ll send the disc in a better sleeve along with the original.


The disc is actually in good condition considering how the sleeve looks. There are some scratches on both sides. I played it and it plays well without skips on both sides. There is a consistent crackling and occasional popping, but it sounds good. The disc could use some cleaning. This is a good playable example of a rare and very important album.
