Description
Here we have a copy of a rare Jazz LP.
Phil seamen meets Eddie Gomez
OPP 102 Stereo sleeve
W/ PANTONIC label PAN 6306
When first released in 1968 this record suffered disappointing sales only selling small amounts to then be deleted. Then in 1969 SAGA decides to form a subsidiary label called Pantonic!
Unusually they picked this LP from their back catalogue, odd considering poor sales. Not too surprisingly, only a few hundred copies were sold.
This however now makes this a rare find and a sought after addition to the collection.
This also explains the sleeve catalogue number differentiating from the record labels.
Matrix:
STOPP 102A/B-2
Vinyl: EX+++++++
The record is in lovely condition, not too far off near mint at all.
A smooth glossy sheen to both sides, looks to of had little use.
A couple of light hairlines and a couple of little light surface marks under light but this is very minimal indeed, its a very good clean example. Plays through really well!
Labels are straight and tidy, with some spindle marking under light!
Sleeve: EX++++
Very nice tidy sleeve.
Straight and clean. Laminated...a very nice example overall, just light corner wear otherwise a very nice tidy sleeve indeed, just light creasing near spine with a couple of light age spots but a clean straight sleeve.
A superb addition to your collection!
